Christmas & Holiday Shipping Information — 2025
Thank you for supporting Earth Bound and our small, independent publishing studio. We truly appreciate every order and want to be as clear and transparent as possible during the Christmas period.
As we move through December, international printing, freight and Australian port processing are experiencing unusually high volumes. While we plan and place orders well in advance, some stages of the shipping process — particularly customs and port handling — can become unpredictable at this time of year.
What to Expect With Christmas Orders
Many of our guides are produced in small batches through trusted print partners rather than being mass-stocked in warehouses. This allows us to maintain quality and independence, but it also means Christmas is our busiest and most complex period for fulfilment.
We are currently experiencing delays at the shipping and port stage, after stock has arrived in Australia. Because of this, while we are hopeful many orders will still arrive before Christmas, we cannot guarantee pre-Christmas delivery for all printed guides.
Some orders may arrive just after Christmas if final processing is delayed further. We understand this can be disappointing, and we are genuinely sorry for the uncertainty this creates.
Print Production and Shipping Timeframes
Under normal conditions, printed guides typically take between 14 and 28 business days from order to delivery. During November and December, this timeframe can increase due to printing queues, international freight congestion and courier backlogs.
Once an order has entered the printing or courier network, it is unfortunately not possible to expedite it further. We do, however, continue to monitor progress closely and will always share updates as they become available.
Digital Guides
Where available, digital Earth Bound guides are delivered by email shortly after purchase. Digital guides are not affected by printing, port delays or courier congestion and are an excellent option for last-minute gifts or immediate trip planning.
If you do not receive your digital file, please check your spam or junk folder first, and then contact us so we can resend it promptly.
If You’ve Already Placed an Order
If you have already placed an order and are unsure about its delivery timing, you’re very welcome to contact us with your order number. We’ll check the most up-to-date information available and provide as much clarity as possible.
We know many Earth Bound guides are purchased as meaningful gifts, and we’re truly sorry for any disruption this may cause to your Christmas plans. Your patience and understanding mean a great deal to us, especially during our busiest season.
